Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything I needed, including a good bed, a proper desk, comfy chairs, and a coffee table. The room was clean and stylish, with a mini-bar, tea & coffee, free water, a safe, and free toiletries; just a bit small and accessed via 2 sets of stairs. The service was excellent, from charging only EU15 from the credit card to helping with directions and being nice and helpful overall. The location was awesome, right in the center of the old town, very central to Old Lyon, beautifully on the Saone embankment, with easy access to various bus lines within 50 meters; it was perfect for exploring Lyon's Old Town. The dining experience offered the usual continental European fare, including cheese, lunch meat, coffee, juice, pastries, bread, scrambled eggs, and a hot sausage dish, all excellent and good value, but lacked some attention to detail like the need for a toaster. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything I needed during my stay.
The hotel is perfectly situated in Lyon's historic old town overlooking the River Saône, ideal for exploring the city on foot. The rooms are spacious, though a bit dimly lit. The service is friendly and helpful, with great attention to details like making a perfect G&T. Dining could offer more variety for the price, but overall good value. The location is a standout feature, offering a peaceful setting away from the bustling old quarter yet within easy reach of shops and dining options.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were spacious, although not absolutely clean, and lacked a personal hygiene kit other than soap. On the bright side, they were the largest rooms I have rented in France, providing a unique view onto a neighboring building where we could see other people in their apartments. Some rooms faced an internal courtyard or a common space with sofas, allowing for interactions with other guests.
